Shipping Your Premium Teas: What You Need to Know
Water Over Leaves packages your tea to order. It takes two business days for us to process and ship your order, however we will always send it out earlier if possible. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information.
We offer free pickup at our tea studio in Six Mile, and offer free delivery to Nelson and the North Shore. Please allow two to three days for deliveries, however we will deliver as soon as we possibly can, and occasionally even the same day.
We offer a $12 flat rate shipping fee for packages sent anywhere in Canada, and free shipping for orders over $90. Packages are shipped via Canada Post or UPS. Standard package delivery times are two business days for local mail, three business days within BC, and four days for national mail. Please note that shipping times and delays may change without notice. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.
We now offer shipping to the USA for a flat fee of $12. Delivery fees may change without notice. Additional fees may be encured by customs
When selecting your shipping method at checkout, please keep in mind that the stated transit time for your order is an estimate. Shipping estimates do not include the order processing time of 1-3 business days. Once we release packages to Canada Post or UPS, all responsibility of its safe and timely arrival is transferred to the shipping company. If an order is lost, we can assist you in tracking your package. We are not responsible in replacing a package that is lost or stolen in the mail when shipping confirmations have been obtained.
We cannot guarantee delivery timelines as mail carriers across Canada and the US are continuing to experience delays. These delays are beyond our control.
For updates on your shipment, please check your order confirmation email for the tracking details and follow up with the carrier.
We do not offer shipping cost refunds for shipping delays, incorrectly provided addresses or packages marked delivered but not received.
If a shipment is returned to us un-delivered, you will have the option to be refunded for the product (minus the original shipping fee) or we can reship the order to a new address. Re-shipping your order to a new address will incur a shipping fee.
If you refuse the delivery of your package, the shipping fee associated with the return of the package to Water Over Leaves will be deducted from the total cost of your order refund.
At this time we do not ship internationally. We apologize for this inconvenience.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Products
Water Over Leaves Tea Company will not be liable for any loss, damages or expenses due to shipping. Title and risk of loss is passed to the customer once the order is transferred to the third-party shipping service provider.
For Canadian customers, if a package is lost or arrives damaged, Water Over Leaves will be happy to place a claim with Canada Post or Fedex on your behalf.

Payment is pre-authorized at the time you place the order, but not completed until the order ships. Any item we are unable to provide will be removed from your order before your final payment is processed.
Add-Ons & Substitutions
We are committed to providing an efficient, positive experience for our customers. Due to increased order volume, we can't accommodate add-ons or substitutions after your order has been confirmed at checkout.
Returns
If any of our products do not meet your expectations, we want to know. Please send an email to hello@wateroverleaves.com including your order number and the reason for the desired return. We will investigate and evaluate the request before a replacement or refund is issued.
Once approved, we will gladly refund the purchase price of your unopened, returned product within sixty (60) days of the original purchase date. We are available to answer any questions you have regarding our products over email. If we have made an error with your order, please contact us at hello@wellnessoverleaves.com and we will do everything we can to assist you. If your order arrives incorrect or damaged, please contact us within 5 business days and we will gladly send a return shipping label and replace the item.
Please note:
Unwanted items must be unopened with the seal fully intact for refunds to be issued. No exceptions.
Unwanted Items must be sent back at the expense of the customer.
Refunds will only be issued to the same payment method that was used for the original purchase. The original shipping cost will not be refunded.
Quality issue returns must be pre-approved before being sent back to Water Over Leaves, in which case you will be emailed a pre-paid shipping label to cover the cost of the return.

Product sent back to Water Over Leaves without pre-approval may not be refunded.
Returning Teaware
You may return or exchange all non-tea merchandise 7 days after date of purchase for a full refund (less shipping charges). Returned items must be undamaged and in their original packaging, accompanied by the original receipt or packing slip. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs for returned or exchanged items. There is a 15% restocking fee on all items that are not being exchanged.
Our policy cannot accommodate purchases that have been misused, altered, or otherwise damaged. Refunds are credited to the original form of payment for the purchase price, less shipping, once we receive the merchandise. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Items returned without a return authorization and/or after our 7 day grace period may incur a 50% restocking fee.
Please note Wellness over Leaves does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of merchandise damaged or lost in transit. In the event that your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately.
United States Shipping
All policies for Canadian Shipping as outlined above apply to orders being shipped to the United States.
Please note the following exceptions:
