Fae of Jasmine
Fae of Jasmine
A Flower Spirit from the Sichuan Mountains
Ingredients: Jasmine green tea (Camellia sinensis + Jasminum sambac)
Taste: Enchanting, floral-forward infusion with soft vegetal sweetness, delicate green tea undertones, and a lingering jasmine bloom. A whisper of Asian pear rounds out the finish, offering both refreshment and reverie.
Health Benefits: Calming, antioxidant-rich, light caffeine
Origin: China (Sichuan Province, Meng Ding Village)
Craftsmanship:
This tea—named Hua Xiang Zi, or “Flower Fairy”—is a rare jasmine treasure from the highlands of Sichuan, where flower teas are woven like spells. Crafted with precision, three successive infusions of fresh jasmine flowers are used to naturally scent the tender green tea leaves and buds. A fourth and final batch of blossoms is folded in for visual delight and an aromatic crescendo.
Processed with an unusual dry heat + steam method, this tea preserves both the vibrancy of the leaf and the purity of the floral perfume.
Experience:
The brewed liquor gleams golden-green, releasing a heady, hypnotic fragrance of jasmine in full bloom. Notes of sweet spring vegetables, ripe fruit, and mountain mist unfold with each sip. The aftertaste lingers like a half-remembered dream.
